Fernando Aciar, known as "Fefo," is a New York-based designer and chef, serving as the visionary founder of the multidisciplinary creative studio, fefostudio. Hailing from the Andes Mountains of Argentina, Aciar draws profound inspiration from the rich tapestry of nature and traditional craftsmanship native to his upbringing. Renowned for his joyfully unique approach to creation, Aciar has carved out a niche career crafting functional art tailored for the conviviality of home settings, bridging the realms of culinary and design, all while celebrating the art de vivre.
Two decades ago, Aciar started his journey in Rio de Janeiro, honing his craft at the illustrious Parque Lage Visual Art School. Since then, he has achieved remarkable success, founding fourteen esteemed culinary establishments across New York City. In 2019, Aciar embarked on a new venture with Ostudio: a cultural hub founded on the principle of fostering connections through the mediums of food, arts and crafts, and community engagement. Serving as both the residence of Fefo's personal atelier, showroom, and store, as well as a collaborative space for artists and creative agencies, Ostudio is also a restaurant venue ideal for hosting pop-up dinners and events.
Despite his New York base, Aciar's creative endeavors transcend borders, with numerous international collaborations to his credit. Presently, the artist divides his time between New York, Europe, and South America.
